Mandatory 6 months Probationary Period
Probationary employees refer to individuals undergoing their first 180-calendar day period of employment. During this period of time, you will be able to determine if your new job is suitable for you and your supervisor will have an opportunity to evaluate your work performance.
At the start of your engagement with the Company, you will be apprised of your responsibilities and the standards for your evaluation. During this Probationary Period, the Company will evaluate your suitability for employment. If, during this period, your work habits, attitude, attendance or performance does not measure up to our standards, we may release you following a performance review.
Nearing the end of the Probationary Period, your manager will discuss your job performance with you. Employees who satisfactorily complete a probationary period of not exceeding 180 calendar days will be notified of their status as regular employees.
Please understand that completion of the Probationary Period does not guarantee continued employment for any specified period of time. You may be terminated for other causes as provided under the Labor Code,[Aside from the other causes of termination provided herein, you may be terminated when you fail to qualify as a regular employee according to the reasonable standards prescribed by the Company at the start of your employment]. The procedure for termination outlined under Disciplinary Actions shall be followed in terminating your employment.
Regularization
Employees who at least satisfactorily complete a probationary period will be notified of their status as regular employees.
Independent Contractor / Project-based Employment
Contractual / Project-based employees are individuals hired to perform specific tasks for a pre-determined period of time. Such employees may later on become regular employees of the company provided a vacancy occurs and the individual undergoes and successfully completes the regularization processes. The Company reserves the right to choose whether a contractual employee may be offered regular status.
Maximum length of contractual/project-based employment is six (6) months.
