This Corporate Guidelines is issued to clarify the definitions of employment classifications so that employees understand their employment status and benefits eligibility.
The employment type of each Groworx team member is as follows:
Groworxer - a full time Groworx Employee, who signed a Probationary / Regular Employment Contract with Groworx, in compliance with applicable laws of the land, where the employee is contracted to. Generally, employees under this classification are eligible for the full benefits package, subject to terms and limitations of each benefit program.
Groworx Consultant - either a part-time or full-time Groworx Contractor, who signed a contract with Groworx to work on a specific project or period. A Groworx Consultant is not eligible for the full benefits package and the rate of the consultant should be agreed by both parties and approved by the Finance Manager and CEO of Groworx. The payment schedule of any Groworx Consultant is within 14 days from the day the invoice has been validated and approved.
Probationary - a mandatory 6-month probationary period is imposed to a Groworxer from his start date / on-boarding to Groworx. A Probationary employee will be subject to 2nd Month and 5th Month reviews to determine if he/she will be eligible for Regularization.
Regular - after the 6-month probationary period has passed, considering that the Groworxer was able to demonstrate at least a satisfactory performance, as documented during the 2nd and 5th month reviews, a Groworxer will be upgraded to a Regular employment status.
It is the responsibility of the Manager / Supervisor to ensure that all employees are evaluated in a timely manner.
An employee is regularized by default if the manager fails to submit notice of regularization after the 6th month of the employee.
The employment may be terminated by the employer if a Groworxer is deemed as non-performing, based on the performance reviews of the manager. A Groworxer is given at least 30-days notice prior to his regularization period, should the employee be terminated out of performance.
